Playa Kalki is one of the most picturesque beaches of Curacao, which is located on the shore of a small bay at the foot of limestone cliffs, overgrown with lush tropical greenery. Stairs lead to the beach.

Beach description
Narrow and short strip of beach, covered with fine white sand, rests on steep cliffs. The descent into the sea is gentle, but at the bottom there are many stones and coral debris. For the tourists convenience near the shore equipped with a platform on which you can get without injury to a sufficiently deep place. On the territory there are sun loungers and umbrellas, changing cabins, showers, toilets. There is also a cafe, a restaurant, a snack bar, a diving school and a dive shop on the beach.
Playa Kalki is not very crowded because of the inaccessibility. The contingent of vacationers are mainly enthusiasts of scuba diving, diving and snorkeling, as well as guests of nearby hotels.
Playa Kalki is considered to be Paradise for snorkelers and divers. The underwater platform is equipped with ropes designed for easy descent of divers to the most interesting places. At the depth opens fantastically beautiful underwater world in rocks and grottoes with coral gardens, algae, flocks of colorful tropical fish, turtles.
When is it better to go
The best time for a beach holiday in Curacao lasts almost all year round – from December to September. The air temperature does not exceed + 30 °C, the water warms up to + 28 °C. During this period, it is sunny and dry on the island. From the beginning of September to December, monsoon showers are poured in Curacao, but even this time is quite suitable for relaxation, since showers take place mainly at night, and sunny weather sets in the afternoon.
