Pinneys beach
Pinneys Beach is located in Charlestown on the west coast of Nevis Island. The long golden line more than six kilometers long is being approached by high sprawling palms.

Beach description
Pinneys is a 24-hour public beach with fine sand. Descent into the sea is steep, high waves prevent swimming. The bottom is sandy and rocky. It's often windy.
Pinneys has sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, but on especially busy days they are often not enough, so it is advisable to bring a towel and an umbrella. Pinneys is the most popular beach of the island, constantly hosting entertainment programs, beach discos. There are many restaurants and bars along the coastline, where the music doesn't stop even at night and visitors go to the beach to continue the party. Vacationing on Pinneys with the kids is not comfortable. It's too noisy and crowded, there are no playgrounds and clubs for children. Swimming is only possible in the hotel pool.
There are several hotels along the beach, next to which there are the most well-kept plots of beach, and there are breakwaters in the sea. Entrance to the beach territory of the hotel is usually free – “strangers” are not prevented from staying and swimming. You can even visit the restaurants and cafes in the hotels and use free Wi-Fi.
Not far from the beach there are many places worth visiting:

- slave market ruins;
- Sports Museum;
- Jewish Cemetery;
- Fort Charles;
- Nelson Museum;
- Hamilton Museum.
There are shuttle buses from Charlestown to Pinneys Beach. You can take a regular taxi and agree with the taxi driver on the time of return.
When is it better to go
The islands of Saint Kitts and Nevis are located in a tropical climate zone with insignificant seasonal temperature fluctuations. The high season on the islands lasts from December to April, when it is dry and sunny, and the air temperature does not exceed +30°C. During this period, prices for accommodation and all types of services rise to the limit, hotels are crowded with tourists. The low summer season is characterized by monsoon rains and hurricanes, but it is possible to get into the relatively dry and sunny period if you go to the islands in June or July.
