Dennery beach

Dennery is a well-known beach on the east coast of the island of Saint Lucia, on the territory of the city of the same name. The resort is located on the Atlantic coast near numerous coves and bays.

Beach description

Not many tourists come to these places as the coast is sandy, but with numerous rocks and mountain slopes. It is noisy here – it is always windy weather, high waves and raging sea. The resort is surrounded by numerous trees, greenery, shrubs and other vegetation. Not far from the beach and the city centre, there is an uninhabited island to the north of the village.

The resort is considered one of the most active fishing and agrarian centers of the state. The city has many streets chaotically scattered throughout the settlement. Tourists who want to learn about culture, history and the life of local workers can go on authentic canoe fishing. This is one of the most popular tours in these places. Also fans of active recreation will enjoy visiting local plantations of cocoa, fruit crops, go on an excursion to the sugar plant. The other sights of the area include:

The rainy season lasts from late spring to late summer, and the dry season lasts from early winter to early spring, so the winter months are best for relaxing on the beaches of Saint Lucia. Water in the Atlantic Ocean warms up to +25 degrees. The average air temperature during the day is +26 degrees, at night - at least +20.
