Al Khiran is an artificially created resort in the south of Kuwait located in the city of the same name with numerous canals. This is the pride of the country and the beach capital, where there are always a lot of vacationers from around the world and local residents.

Beach description
On the coast and bottom lies snow-white fine sand. Tall palm trees grow along the perimeter. The entrance to the water is comfortable and smooth. The beach is shallow, and the water is clear azure warm. The resort is artificially created, so it does not look very comfortable. But the infrastructure is well developed: there is a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, bars, pools, barbecue and picnic areas. There are no conditions for snorkeling and diving.
There are many apartments and hotels on the coast. Prices are high. It is profitable to book accommodation for large companies. Among the offers there are apartments of 5 bedrooms for 12 people. This option will be beneficial for a large family. The cost per day begins at $200. On weekends, housing prices double. Travelers go to Al Khiran by taxi, but locals use their own cars. It is just 50 km from Kuwait to the beach.
When is it better to go
Kuwait has a tropical desert climate –very hot and dry. In summer, the average temperature is +45 degrees in the sun and +35 in the shade, there is no precipitation, sometimes dust storms occurs here. In winter, the weather is changeable – frosts occur sometimes. Most precipitation falls in the fall due to cyclones from the Indian Ocean. Water temperature is from +26 to +37 in summer and +16 in winter. Dry desert wind blows from May to October. It is best to relax in Kuwait in the winter, in the middle of spring and autumn.
