Beach description
Sand on the beach is of two hues: white and yellow. Yellow is the natural sand of Sharjah, and white is imported. Both the one and the other are very comfortable, like entry into the sea. Sometimes there are underwater currents near the coast, but rescuers monitor this and warn vacationers. Al Corniche is the widest and longest beach on the coastline, located almost in the very center of the city. Here is convenient, free parking lot, but it is better to take places in the morning.
The beach has good infrastructure:
- sunbeds and parasols,
- changing rooms,
- showers and toilets,
- cafes and bars.
Although it is possible to do without sunbeds and parasols. Shady palm trees grow along the beach, under them it is possible to cose, using them as an parasol from the sun.
It is possible to get to the beach by taxi, and the hotels offer a free transfer. On a rented car it is necessary to follow the signs in the direction of Al Mantaza Street, which goes directly to the beach.
