Al Khan beach
Al Khan Beach is located in Sharjah. It was chosen by russian tourists, who prefer a budget rest. Locals call this beach "russian". Here, as elsewhere in the Emirates, there is a free and paid areas. Paid belongs to coastal hotels, free open to all comers.

Beach description
The sand on Al Khan beach is yellow with a grayish hue. The entry into the sea is smooth and convenient, the depth increases gradually. Sometimes it is possible to stumble upon sea urchins in the depths.
Here is the whole infrastructure: changing cabins, showers, toilets, free playground. In the evenings, vacationers gather on the volleyball pitch. Of beach activities, kitesurfing, riding on hawaiian boards, scooters and catamarans are available.
It is posible to get to the beach using a hotel transfer. Buses bring vacationers to the beach in the morning and pick up at dinner, at 14.00. If the rest is organized independently, then only by taxi for 3-4 dollars, since public transport does not go to the beach.
Near the beach there are the Maritime Museum and the Sharjah oceanarium. It is possible to watch the fountain show in the evening, that takes place on the island of Al-Majaz.
When is it better to go
The climate of the Emirates is influenced by two factors: the sea and desert, making it dry in the summer and humid and windy in the winter. On the Gulf coast, the high season lasts from October to April. The best months to travel are March and November. At this time, the most comfortable temperature is held. Water - +25˚, air - +32˚.
