The best beaches near Limassol

Located on the southern coast of Cyprus on the road from Limassol to Paphos, marked with the Blue Flag. Previously, there was a fishing port belonging to the small village of Pissouri, located in the neighborhood, but recently the resort has been actively developing and building up. Modern hotels and other real estate properties have grown on the coast that attract foreign tourists and investors who want to buy housing here. Despite this, Pissouri managed not to lose his charm and maintain a unique Cypriot atmosphere. The village often hosts "Cypriot nights" with national songs and dances, as well as harvest festivals, which bring together guests and residents of the island.

Akti Olympion belongs to the municipality of Limassol. The beach, two halves of which are marked with the letters "A" and "B", is stretched for about 2 km. The conditional boundaries of their territories are divided by a pier. A large number of vacationers are attracted here not only by the high quality of beach vacations, but also by a very developed infrastructure.

Paramali Beach is a secluded and calm place located south of the village of the same name. A dirt road leads to the beach along orange and lemon plantations. Paramali is a real Cypriot beach, which, like many other beaches on the island, is inhabited by sea turtles, so visitors are asked to respect the nests of the local inhabitants and keep enough distance from them to allow young animals to safely get to the water and return back to the nests.

Located on the southern coast of Cyprus, nineteen kilometers west of Limassol. The beach is located on the shore of Episkopi Bay in a conservation area taken under state protection. Next to it there is the Kourion Archaeological Park, one of the most valuable historical monuments in Cyprus. Because of this, public transport does not go to the beach, and it is forbidden to build hotels in its vicinity. You can get to Kourion by car, following the highway towards Paphos (turn left at the intersection of highways B6 and M1).
