Paramali beach

Paramali Beach is a secluded and calm place located south of the village of the same name. A dirt road leads to the beach along orange and lemon plantations. Paramali is a real Cypriot beach, which, like many other beaches on the island, is inhabited by sea turtles, so visitors are asked to respect the nests of the local inhabitants and keep enough distance from them to allow young animals to safely get to the water and return back to the nests.

Beach description

Paramali is a paradise with a beautiful view of the endless bright blue sea. The beach is located in a natural bay among high cliffs with amazing light yellow and gray color, partially covered with green grass and stunted trees. Waves in this part of the Mediterranean Sea are rare. The beach is long and wide, covered with a mixture of yellow sand and gray pebbles. The entry into the water is moderately deep, the bottom is flat, but stones are found closer to the rocks.

There are no amenities on the beach and restaurants as well. This is a great place for peace and quiet. Paramali is one of the few beaches where you can meet kite surfers. They choose this place to a greater extent not because of a fair wind, but because of the lack of a large number of vacationers.

When is it better to go?

The holiday season begins in Cyprus at the end of April, when the water in the sea warms up enough to feel comfortable for swimming. June – is the most comfortable month for relaxation: the temperature is pleasant, up to 26 to 30 degrees, the sea breeze freshes and tones up. In July-August, the island becomes too thick and glowing, but in September-October, comfortable conditions turn back again.
