Coral Bay Beach is the pearl of the Paphos resort. He won the hearts of tourists with soft sand of dark golden color, clear and calm water, a smooth set of depth. He is loved for the lush palm trees growing along the coast, gentle hills with wonderful views, cozy cafes and good infrastructure. This place also has the following advantages:
- Coral Bay has repeatedly received the Blue Flag Award for impeccable order throughout the territory;
- here are ideal conditions for children and beginner swimmers. Namely: shallow and warm sea, continuous duty of rescuers, lack of undercurrents;
- there is a soft seabed, along which you can walk on bare foot.
Coral Bay is filled with tourists at 9-10 in the morning. If you want to take a sunbed by the sea - come early. Otherwise, you will have to be content with a place on the periphery.
Beach guests are offered plenty of fun. Including water skiing, banana and pill races, surfing and windsurfing. Coral Bay Sea Cliffs are popular among diving and snorkelling fans. There are also boat trips.
Interesting fact: every year, a few tons of first-class sand are brought to Coral Bay. Initially, this beach was pebbled.
When is it better to go?
The holiday season begins in Cyprus at the end of April, when the water in the sea warms up enough to feel comfortable for swimming. June – is the most comfortable month for relaxation: the temperature is pleasant, up to 26 to 30 degrees, the sea breeze freshes and tones up. In July-August, the island becomes too thick and glowing, but in September-October, comfortable conditions turn back again.
