Governor’s Beach is a small, quiet and comfortable place created for family vacations. You will find snow-white cliffs, a bright blue sea, soft sand and the best cocktails in the south of Crete. The local tourist season begins in late May and ends in November.

Governor's beach is a paradise with clear water and calm sea. It is surrounded by snow-white cliffs, green lawns, palm groves. Also there is a smooth set of depth. The local coast is characterized mainly by calm weather, interesting relief, quiet and calm atmosphere. On its territory there are no annoying merchants, drunk parties or noisy discos. Quiet and calm people rest here.
The governor's beach is covered with soft sand, which you can walk on barefoot. In its eastern part there are sun loungers, snack bars and other infrastructure. The western part of the coast is reserved for family vacations.

When is it better to go?
The holiday season begins in Cyprus at the end of April, when the water in the sea warms up enough to feel comfortable for swimming. June – is the most comfortable month for relaxation: the temperature is pleasant, up to 26 to 30 degrees, the sea breeze freshes and tones up. In July-August, the island becomes too thick and glowing, but in September-October, comfortable conditions turn back again.
