Slack Dune beach
Slack Dune Beach is a beautiful but almost semi-desert beach, located between two French communes - Ambleteuse and Vimere in the O de France region on the North Sea coastline. It is possible to get to the beach from both coastal cities. In the first case, it is necessary to get to the organized free parking lot and walk about 1 km, while the travel will delight with very picturesque scenery. From Vimere it is much easier to get to the beach, because from the car parking lot it is necessary to overcome only 200 m on foot.

The beach is surrounded by low sand dunes, some of which belong to the protected area, so there are almost no signs of civilization. Some sections are protected and it is possible to go off the well-trodden path to avoid fines for walking in the wrong places.
The wide and rather long coastline of Slack Dune is sandy and shingly, absolutely wild and attracting only judges of solitude from noisy crowds and water sports lovers. Due to the presence of constant winds and considerable waves, this beach is one of the most favorite kitesurfing spots in the north of France.
