Cannes is the capital of the world of cinema and fashion, the city of historical monuments and fashion boutiques. Along the Croisette there are sunny beaches, some of the best on the French Riviera.

Gravette (La Gravette Beach) – most beautiful of the public beaches of Antibes. White sands are scattered behind the ramparts of the Old Port almost in the center of the city. Luminescent waters of bay are covered by a jetty, it is always calm and sunny here.
Marinieres (Plage des Marinieres) stretches for about 1 km in the Bay of Villefranche. On the right is Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the left the beach is bounded by a wooded hill. Behind – steep cliffs. East winds that cause unrest in other places do not reach here. Weather is always favorable in the harbor, only in summer the beach is fenced off from the sea to protect swimmers from jellyfish.
La Salis beach lives a busy and active life from dusk to dawn in summer. La Garoupe is the most famous beach east of Cap d'Antibes Cape. It is the only beach covered with beach and whee the territory is occupied with private areas. In some places, the sand is mixed with pebbles. La Garoupe is situated in the northeast of the coast of the French Riviera, the sun is more soft and comfortable here. This is one of the most pristine beaches which was completely deserted not long ago. Nowadays, this place is perfect for having peaceful glamorous vacation.
Plage Macé is one of the 13 municipal beaches located right in the centre, in front of the Palais des Festivals. This is the west side of Croisette Boulevard. A wide, spacious area where the public can watch films from the Cannes Film Festival in May. It's a busy place in season.
La Petite Afrique Beach is sand and pebble beach surrounded by the sea, palm trees, white cliffs and picturesque houses. La Petite Afrique Beach is located in a small bay, protected from winds and waves. There are toilets, parking lot, beautiful restaurant and respectable hotel on the beach.
Aiguille (Aiguille Beach) is located in town of Theoule-sur-Mer, very picturesque place in the South of France, 10 km from Cannes. City is located among mountain spiral roads, neat villas and gardens. Beach attracts attention even from road. Beach is located in the shade of the surrounding reddish cliffs and dense vegetation. Bay of Cannes and Lérins Islands are clearly visible from above.
Port Gallice (Port Gallice beach) is sandy beach in city of Juan-les-Pins. Guests can enjoy swimming, sunbathing and picnics on the beach. They are also invited to visit the local cinema, play in casino, dance in night club, drink in cocktail bar, enjoy French pastries and sweets. There is a car park with 50+ places 200 m from beach.
Ile Sainte Marguerite (Ile Sainte Marguerite island) is one of two islands that form archipelago belonging to Cannes. Both Islands, which are also called Lérins Islands, are inhabited. Places are wild and rocky. Île Saint-Honorat is smaller and more rocky, which only drivers will like. There are beaches on Ile Sainte Marguerite island, but all of them are exclusively for wildlife lovers.
Calanques de Maupas (Les Calanques de Maupas) is a rocky beach located on the territory of a nature reserve. Calanques de Maupas is surrounded by dense forests, light brown rocks and huge reefs that pierce the sea.
La Bocca is a popular holiday destination west of the Croisette. Newly baked couples and sports youth are used to rest here, as this public beach is devoid of the pathos of paid central, it is not overcrowded, gives a lot of opportunities for active activities, close to the airport and railway station.
There are not so many wild beaches on the Cote d'-Azur, but the most "wild" of them is La Réserve Beach!
