Beach description
The coastline and bottom are dotted with golden fine sand, pleasant to the touch. The coastline is long and wide, it is suitable for walking and jogging. The coastline is surrounded by high dunes, perennial green trees. Common seals often warm on the beach, various birds and other representatives of the local fauna seek food.
Strong winds blow on the coastline, high waves rise, so the place is popular among surfers. There is a strong current in the sea. The nearest sights are in Rotterdam.
When is it better to go
There are no mountains in the country; therefore, throughout the whole of Holland the climate is moderately warm, marine, and humid. The average temperature in summer reaches +20 degrees, in winter – up to +1. There are few sunny days, it often rains, strong winds blow, fogs arise. The weather is rapidly changing. Summer is indulgent, winter is mild. The best time to travel to Holland is spring and summer. The beach season lasts from July to August.
