Beach description
The real dignity of the Iron Port is an evenly delineated coastline. The lack of bends that form inundations contributes to the constant renewal of water in the coastal lagoon. The white sand with the admixture of shells serves as a beach covering. It takes 5 kilometers in length, reaching in places 60 meters wide.
One advantage of the Iron Port is a smooth 20-metre ingress to depth. The bottom is sandy and flat, without hollows or stones, only in some places covered with algae. Beginner swimmers should beware of strong currents and large waves that appear in windy weather.
In high summer the sea is heated to a pleasant temperature of 24-25 °C. Moreover, the water in this area can bring a lot of health benefits. Sea muds extracted here have found application in the fight against joint, nervous, skin and other pathologies. Therapeutic effect on the body is also provided by local air, which has an optimal content of healing mineral elements.
When is it better to go
The swimming season on Ukrainian beaches begins in early June and lasts until the end of September. Particularly in this period, tourists rush to the resort cities to enjoy the hot and sunny weather on the scenic coast.

Iron Port pleases visitors with its many amenities. In addition to the usual beach paraphernalia (rental of awnings/sunbeds, changing rooms, showers, toilets), there is a service "Sharko shower".
Entertainment complex includes not only traditional children's and sports grounds but also non-standard establishments:
- Luna park with beach attractions;
- mini aquapark for the most;
- 6 clubs, throwing beach parties with live music, lighting effects, karaoke, fiery dances;
- a round-the-clock entertainment complex for adults and children with a disco bar, restaurant, 3D cinema, nightclub.
Serious attention is paid to solving the gastronomic problem of holidaymakers. A chain of different catering facilities stretches along the entire embankment:
- three cafes offering full home-style cuisine as well as a grill menu;

Within walking distance of the beach area is the Biosphere Reserve, the world's largest bird breeding ground. On the territory of the reserve, there is a healing geyser, near which there are a swimming pool, baths and a massage room.
