Mandalay beach

Mandalay is one of Australia's most famous wild beaches. It is amazingly picturesque - sand, dunes and rocks are all around. Only the turquoise ocean and there is no one around.

Mandalay Bay history has one curious fact: it is a place of wreck of a Norse ship that give name to this beach section. Moreover, the line of natural sights can be found around this place. the most unusual of the m is the park of wooden statues, Understory Art and Nature. A bit farther, the National Walpole Nornalup Park, where you can see unique giant trees (up to 80 m high), is located.

When is it better to go

The busiest swimming season in Australia lasts from December to February. In this summer, for the southern latitudes, the mainland heats up to 25-30 °C, in places up to 40 °C. In winter (June to August) the air is cooled down to 11 °C. May and September are considered the best beach months with a cloudless sky and not too active sun.
