Matapang beach
Matapang Beach is located in Tumon Bay. This beach is one of the few that is covered with sand without stones and corals, not only on the shore, but also in the water. Matapang Beach is shallow, so families with children often have a rest here. There is a zoo near the beach.

Beach description
The Sea in this part of Guam is calm, without flow and strong waves, water is crystal clear and has blue colour with emerald iridescence. Matapang Beach has a small area with clean, well maintained grounds, several holiday houses, picnic areas, shower cabins and toilettes.
Matapang Beach is a great place for snorkeling, fish is not scared of people and beautiful coral reef is located near the beach.
There are a lot of canoes on the beach, which constantly arrives or swim off the beach. Many local citizens and tourists arrives for a special reason in Matapang Beach to see the most unbelievable sunset in the Guam island.
