Beach description

Poland Beach is considered to be the most beautiful and biggest on the island. Endless shore covered with white sand, soft like flour or sugar powder. Serene blue ocean beckons invitingly in his arms, but do not relax, because near the shore are strong streams, so tourists need to swim here with great caution. The bottom near the beach is flat, mostly sandy, with small patches of coral reef.

The beach doesn't have any infrastructure, it's absolutely wild and empty. Tourists rarely visit this place, there are no hotels. The most frequent visitors are representatives of humanitarian organizations that monitor the ecological situation on the Islands of Oceania and observe the population of rare birds that nest on Kiritimati.

When is it better to go?

The beach season in Kiritimati (Republic of Kiribati) lasts all the time, however, climatic and weather conditions have divided the year into two seasons. The rainiest period falls in January-April, and the driest – in May and June, the hottest months (t ° + 32 °C) are September-November, the coldest (t ° + 26 °C) is January-March.   Hurricanes are rarely on the island, and the weather is pretty good even in the rainy season, so trips to the beaches of Kiribati are possible at any time of the year.
