Loh Moo Dee beach
Loh Moo Dee is a little-known beach located on the south coast of Phi Phi Don Island, in a cozy bay of the same name.

Beach description
The coastline is 250 meters long and varies in width depending on the high and low tides. This is a hidden beach in a quiet bay, looking like an uninhabited island. Loh Moo Dee is surrounded by tall rocks with palm trees growing on the coast. The shore and bottom are covered with white sand with admixtures of coral debris. The water in the bay is turquoise, clean and transparent. The entrance to the ocean is smooth, the beach is shallow – conditions are suitable for recreation with children. The bottom is sandy, without corals or stones. At a distance of 100 meters from the shore a coral reef with many marine life begins. They do snorkeling and diving here. Long Beach is a 15-minute walk away.
Anyone who likes a quiet and relaxing holiday will like Loh Moo Dee. It's easy to get to the beach – tour operators organize boat trips and hiking tours to it through the mountains every day. As for infrastructure, the beach has bar, umbrellas and deck chairs for rent and a water taxi. Those wishing to stay overnight, spend a holiday or weekend can rent private bungalows.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
