Laem Charoen beach

Laem Charoen beach has a length of about 10 kilometers, its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is divided into smaller 100-meters-long bays. These bays of stone are artificially created by man to protect against waves. There are no bays on the eastern part of the coast, but there is a Chinese temple and a small palm forest.

The width of the coastline is 10-20 meters. Grass begins after the sand, followed by a road that is not so busy. Across the road, you can see the main objects of local infrastructure - hotels, shops, cafes. This is a sandy beach, fine sand, with a small admixture of shell rock. The entrance is smooth, gentle. There are sun loungers and sunshades in some areas of the beach.

Like other urban beaches of the mainland, Laem Charoen is hard to call clean. Beach is regularly cleaned, sand is cleaned, garbage is removed from the water. But since factories are located nearby, the water remains muddy. Laem Charoen beach is deserted in the afternoon. Locals relax in this place most often, so people can be seen in the evenings on weekdays and on weekends. In any case, there is always enough free space here.

When is it better to go

The busy season on Rayong's beaches falls between November and March. The weather becomes drier and cooler and more comfortable than in the rainy season.
