Mae Ramphueng beach

The length of the beach is more than 12 kilometers. The entrance to the water is smooth, the waves are weak. The coast is sandy, its width is about 10-20 meters, then there is a zone of grass with trees. In some places there are sunbeds with umbrellas despite the fact that there is enough natural shade. There are also shops on the beach with inexpensive Thai food.

Mae Ramphueng is a beach located remotely from any settlements, so it is not cleaned every day. But there is much less garbage in the sea and in the sand than in Pattaya for the same reason, the water here is quite clean and clear. There are many hotels near the beach, it's mainly bungalows, but there are also skyscrapers. There are also sections several kilometers long that are not built up at all. There is no traditional tourist infrastructure. Lovers of silence choose this place for recreation, here you can relax and enjoy the pristine beauty of Thai nature.

Mae Rampueng is about an hour away from Pattaya. If you turn off the Sukhumvit road onto Highway 1001, you can immediately get to the most picturesque western part of the beach.

When is it better to go

The busy season on Rayong's beaches falls between November and March. The weather becomes drier and cooler and more comfortable than in the rainy season.
