Al Fanateer beach

Al Fanateer is a public beach that has a few rules. Women are prohibited to wear bikini, while men need to wear shorts and a shirt.

The beach is divided visually into several zones - traditional, family and youth zones. All of them are equipped with toilets, showers and changing rooms, and the Muslim area has prayer booths and restaurants with halal food.

The beach is free for all, and open internet connection is available for the visitors. Guests can use canopies, umbrellas and sunbeds, enjoy water attractions, rent a boat and sports equipment etc.

A big picturesque park with fountains, exotic palms, unique flowerbeds and emerald lawns is located near the beach. You can set up a barbecue here, do sports, visit the children's playground and enjoy your time in one of the numerous restaurants. It's especially nice during the evening, when fresh breeze blows from the sea, the music is heard from all the restaurants and the whole coast is lit up in different colors.

When is the best time to go?

The best time to visit Saudi Arabia for a beach vacation is during the cooler months, from late October to early April. This period avoids the scorching heat of the summer months, ensuring a more comfortable experience.

• Late October to November: These months offer warm yet pleasant temperatures, ideal for sunbathing and water activities without the extreme heat.
• December to February: Considered the winter season, the weather is cooler, which might require a light jacket during evenings. It's perfect for those who prefer mild warmth and a more refreshing swim.
• March to early April: The temperatures start to rise again, but the water remains cool. This time is excellent for those looking to escape colder climates and enjoy the beginning of the warm season.
