Haql beach
Haql is a wild beach covered with light cream sand. In its waters rests a huge ship wrecked 20 years ago. Also, this place is famous for rocky peaks, lifeless dunes, bright and gentle sun. The local shore offers excellent views of the Sinai mountains.

Beach description
Please note: there are no hotels, shops or bars in the vicinity of Haql. It's better to come here with water, fuel and food supplies. On the other hand, the beach is not crowded. It's good for quite and calm rest with family, friends and loved ones.
The majority of visitors are active travellers, families and single tourists. Here resting both Saudi and foreigners. In this place there is a smooth set of depth, windless weather, weak waves. The beach is appreciated for its sparseness, perfect cleanliness, quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
Haql has all great conditions for swimming, sunbathing and walking. Also campings and excursions are organized here. The beach is located in 55 km South from the same named city and in 1500 km West from the capital city. It is possible to get here only by personal transport.
Important to note: it's not recommended to come here with children because of the wild locality, absence of lifeguard and first aid stations.
Interesting fact: the wreck, which adorns the local waters, previously belonged to Greece. It ran aground and was abandoned due to critical damage.
When is the best time to go?
The period from November to April, when the sweltering heat and strong winds peculiar for the summer months have not yet come, is considered the best time to visit the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. The temperature of air and sea water at this time is approximately the same and does not exceed 28-29 degrees.
