Riyue Bay, which is also called "Sun and Moon Bay" is located about 25 km from Wanning. Riyue Bay is very popular among surfers. The sea lagoon is famous for its left-handed breaks.

When is it better to go
The most favorable time for visiting Hainan – is the period from December to March, when warm and mild weather with an optimum temperature of 23-25 °C is established. Summer in Hainan begins in June and ends in November. These are the "hottest" months of the year – with heat up to 39 °C, typhoons, rains and storms.
