Shimei Bay beach
Shimei Bay is a great example of secluded and almost deserted beach of Hainan island. The shore, surrounded by virgin forests, is located in hundreds km from Sanya.

Beach description
Shimei Bay Beach is covered with quartz sand with a golden hue. It is impossible to take eyes off the crystal clear water. The bottom is flat, but the shore is affected by the tides. Lifeguard carefully monitor the situation and don't allow accidents.

When is it better to go
The most favorable time for visiting Hainan – is the period from December to March, when warm and mild weather with an optimum temperature of 23-25 °C is established. Summer in Hainan begins in June and ends in November. These are the "hottest" months of the year – with heat up to 39 °C, typhoons, rains and storms. Holidays in February will provide an opportunity to celebrate the Chinese New Year, but will require a lot of spending.
