Bellevue beach
This sandy beach is located in the area of Hanko city. The slope is smooth, but in some places you feel algae and stones under your foot. Therefore, you need to look after the children when swimming. Despite this, the beach area is clean, there are wooden cabins. It is crowded, but there are plenty of vacationers: some people take sunbaths, and other tourists prefer to relax on boats or yachts, parked nearby.

The beach has a rather convenient location, it is not far from the highway, there is also a parking lot and a cafe with fast-food restaurants. After enjoying the beach, you can see local attractions, since Hanko has a rich history. Here you can visit lighthouses with viewing platforms, a water tower, healing springs or a spa park. If you come to the coast in July or August, you can get to the annual regatta. Also, the southern coast of Finland is perfect for snorkeling and surfing.
When is the best time to go?
It is best to go to the few beach resorts in Finland in July-August, when the weather is the warmest. In the south-east of the country, the temperature rises even to 30 degrees.
