Seurasaari beach
This is a paid city beach in the area of the same name resort Seurasaari, which became famous due to the local museum located in the open air in the forest and consisting of wooden buildings from all over Finland. Newlyweds have a tradition: in the middle of summer, they light a huge bonfire on the water and admire it at night both from the museum and from the beach.

You can get to the place by city bus or car, there is a parking area here, but all-day you need to pay if you plan to stay the whole day. The trip from the center of Helsinki to the island takes only 30 minutes. Seurasaari Beach is a nudist recreation area, but the male and female are separated. You find everything you need on the beach:
- changing cabins;
- showers ;
- toilet ;
- food stall;
- cafe and restaurant.
The main entertainment for children and adults on the island are squirrels, people watch and feed them. They encounter quite often among the picturesque forest, they are tame and like to eat tasty nuts from generous tourists.
When is the best time to go?
It is best to go to the few beach resorts in Finland in July-August, when the weather is the warmest. In the south-east of the country, the temperature rises even to 30 degrees.
