Ustka Beach

Ustka is a small Poland city located approximately in the center of the nearest Baltic coast of the country, at the northernmost point. This is the extreme eastern part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, which is famous for its resort vacations and a large number of beaches. The city itself is located away from major roads in a clean forest zone, it is not big, has a population of about 16 thousand people who are engaged in tourism industry services.

Beach description

The beach line extends to almost the whole city. From both sides it is fenced with dunes and lovely parks that surround the entire city with a green wall Beyond the city area, the beach becomes more rocky and less well-conditioned, and the forest literally comes very close to the Baltic Sea. Forests extend to approximately 15 kilometers in different directions up to Lake Vitsko in the west and Lake Gardno in the east.

Ustka beach is quite well-groomed. The sand was imported specifically here to widen the territory of the beach and make comfortable gentle descent. The sand here id different in color: from bright gray to rusted yellow in some places. Sometimes you can meet large grains of sand as if mixed with fine pebbles, but th whole territory is mainly covered with very fine sand which is so loved while vacation on the beach and tiresome while wearing shoes.

The sea can be reached from any point of the city. Moreover, stairs and descents are installed everywhere if there is some kind of sharp climb. Almost along the whole beach line, alternating various hotels of various price and star categories are located. Hence, cleaning of the beach is done at the highest level. Also, rescues are always there. They are on duty including on water on small catamarans.

Infrastructure

While being at the resort, in addition to spending your time on the beach, you should go sailing. It is a popular place in Poland for professional and amateur yachting. Thanks to the flat coastline without capes and quays, in Ustka the wind is constant and not strong. Safety is also provided by relatively shallow marine depths with a flat sandy bottom in coastal waters.

In addition, kiteboarding is popular at the resort. The popular place for kiteboarding is situated a little bit west of the main beaches. And for those who prefer more soft and listless relaxation at resort, numerous spas, curative mud and mineral water can be offered. They can be offered literally everywhere. For example, in popular five star Grand Lubicz Hotel double room will cost about 70-75 euros per day. This price will include, inter alia, healing mud that will alternate with thermal spas.
