Boat Harbour beach
Bot Harbor is a beach on the territory of a small coastal settlement of the same name, surrounded by low hills, on the northeast coast of the island of Tasmania. You can get to Boat Harbor Beach by taxi or bus from the airport of Launceston.

Beach description
The shore is covered with clean whit sand. Descent into the sea is long and gentle, the bottom is sandy and stony. The sea is pretty calm, the water is clear. Small waves do not endanger the swimmers. It's windy on the beach. The beach is wide. There is a playground, beach football, volleyball and active games. Boat Harbor is not very crowded. There are a lot of locals among the vacationers, tourists are rare. It is a quite safe place for a vacation with children, but the water is rather cold. It is advisible to bring your wetsuits with you. The beach has a cafe, toilets and shower, boat rental stations, kayaks, diving equipment, scuba diving and snorkeling.
There are several hotels in Boat Harbor. You can rent a house. This is a great place for lovers of secluded area away from noisy resorts.
When is it better to go
The busiest swimming season in Australia lasts from December to February. In this summer, for the southern latitudes, the mainland heats up to 25-30 °C, in places up to 40 °C. In winter (June to August) the air is cooled down to 11 °C. May and September are considered the best beach months with a cloudless sky and not too active sun.
