Berakas Beach
The beach is not snow-white, but clean sand and convenient entry into the water is suitable for families with children. Furthermore, the coastal area is equipped with a playground, toilet and all the amenities for couples. The beach area is not too big, but comfortable. There are not many holidaymakers here, as in Brunei there are more attractive and much more popular beaches, but free parking and location attract a sufficient number of tourists of different ages.

The picturesque Forest Nature Park, located near the beach, barbecue and fun friendly gatherings areas distract your eyes from not perfectly clear water, swimming in which is not always acceptable. Therefore, many vacationers, that come on Berakas Beach in bad weather, go on an exciting mini trip through the local forests, where it is possible to see the natural life of primates and unique plants. The beach is located in the northern part of Brunei Muar, and it is more convenient to get to the place by rental car.
When is it better to go?
It should be borne in mind that in Brunei it is humid year-round, the weather is especially bad during the period from October to January, when there are tropical rains. The rest of the year, temperature and humidity are comfortable for visiting the country.
