Meragang Beach
The beach is quite famous among the locals, although the nature in the coastal zone is almost wild, from the outside it seems absolutely untouched. At the same time, the clean sandy territory of Meragang Beach, light clouds and a little breeze turn a beach holiday into a fairy tale. Amazingly beautiful sunsets, a quiet, secluded vacation and a large number of turtles (there is also a center for their breeding) annually attract a lot of tourists to the beach.

Beach description
The place is located northeast of Brunei Muar. There are practically no waves on the beach, but in the dry season, the rest of the time it is a good place for surfing. The entry into the sea is convenient, the water is really pure, and the wreckage of wooden boats, scattered along the coast, only add a zest and uniqueness to the place.
At the same time, the beach can even be called wild, there is not crowded and practically no infrastructure, and the stories of local residents about the "crocodile" name of the beach prompt tourists to come to Meragang Beach and make sure, that there are no animals here. The place is suitable for sunbathing, walks on cross-country vehicles, water skiing, as well as for a family picnic with the construction of sand castles or barbecue with friends.
When is the best time to go?
It should be borne in mind that in Brunei it is humid year-round, the weather is especially bad during the period from October to January, when there are tropical rains. The rest of the year, temperature and humidity are comfortable for visiting the country.
