Seri Kenangan Beach is located in Kualo Tutong near the city of Tutong, the road to the beach takes less than 5 minutes by car. Seri Kenangan is the most popular beach among the other beaches of Brunei. Its picturesque location is a unique natural phenomenon. Seri Kenangan Beach is a spit, that separates the calm Tutong River with a mirror-like surface and the bright blue South China Sea with noisy and disheveled waves.

Seri Kenangan Beach takes about 5 km along the sea coast, the beach is wide, framed by shady trees. The edge of the beach is the border of the river and the sea, they are separated by a pontoon, reinforced by large square and rectangular stones. At the edge of the pontoon, it is possible to watch, how the waters of the Tutong River and the South China Sea meet.

The covering of the beach is sandy, the sand is fine and dense light yellow, almost white, without mixture of shells, very rarely there are small smooth sea pebbles on the beach. The entry into the sea is rather sloping, the bottom is clean and even, it is safe to walk barefoot, the depth increases gradually. But shallow water is not more than 3-5 m at high tide. At low tide, the beach turns into shallow water, with small areas of sandy land.

The South China Sea in the area of Seri Kenangan beach is calm, with a moderate swell, small waves and a moderate wind during the summer monsoon, in winter the waves are high as oceanic, and the wind can reach 12 m/s.

Seri Kenangan Beach is very popular among both locals and tourists. The age of vacationers is different, this beach is chosen by people of advanced age, and youth, and families with children. The reason for this is the developed infrastructure of the beach and its proximity to the city of Tutong.
