Kuah isn't suitable for beach vacations in a traditional sense. The coastline is artificial and full of garbage and swimming is prohibited. But the infrastructure is top notch and allows for entertaining and enjoyable time. The beach has:
- shops,
- cafes,
- restaurants,
- hotels,
- cinemas,
- malls.
The area is covered in grainy golden sand, with a thick forest surrounding it and providing shadow from the heat.
When is it better to go
There are no sudden changes in temperature on the beaches of Malaysia's and possible to relax on the islands all year round. There is no particular season of rains and winds, precipitation is distributed depending on the month of the year and the region of the country.
