Teluk Yu beach
Teluk Yu – a popular resort on the northwest coast of Langkawi Island, its name translates to "shark bay". The beach got its name due to the stone shark statues located along the coast.

Beach description
The bay is calm and the water is transparent. The beach is subject to high and low tides. Almost the whole coast goes underwater during the tide. The narrow and short coastline is covered in grainy light sand. Teluk Yu is the extension of Pasir Hitam Beach. The promenade is equipped with seats, and a panoramic view of the ocean opens from here, there's also a parking lot for the visitors. The Public Shark Bay Park is located near the Pantai Teluk Yu area. Fashionable hotels operate on the resort's territory, and their beaches are only accessible for their guests. The beach is surrounded by thick jungle and the Mat Cincang mountain.
When is it better to go
There are no sudden changes in temperature on the beaches of Malaysia's and possible to relax on the islands all year round. There is no particular season of rains and winds, precipitation is distributed depending on the month of the year and the region of the country.
