Teluk Bahang beach
Teluk Bahang- beach on the northwest coast of Penang island, on the territory with the same name fishing settlement. You can get to the beach from Georgetown or the airport by bus, taxi or rental car. From Batu Ferringhi, Teluk Bahang can be easily reached by bicycle or bike.

Beach description
The short sandy beach line on both sides rests on rocky protrusions and large boulders. The sea descent is uneven, the bottom is sandy and rocky. The water is muddy. There are a few swimmers on Teluk Bahang because of dirty water and the danger of sea urchin and jellyfish.
Teluk Bahang is a great place for a relaxing holiday. There is peace on the beach. There aren't a lot of tourists. There are lot of fishing boats piers nearby. Infrastructure is rather scarce. There are several small eateries and cafes nearby, where you can order dishes from the fresh catch of village fishermen. Guests of few hotels can go on sea fishing with local miners.
It is boring with the children on the beach. Swimming is not allowed, there are no playgrounds. There are several noteworthy places in the village, where children and parents will be interested. It is worth to go to the Butterfly garden, where is about 5 thousand butterflies of different species. There is a park with an artificial waterfall, a pond with lotus and mud pool on the territory. Besides butterflies, the garden is home to various animals, interesting insects, amphibians. A lot of interesting things can be seen in the Tropical spice garden, amazed the imagination by emerald greenery, bright flowering and wonderful spicy plants aromas. Not so far from Teluk Bahang is the Penang National Park, which has a magnificent jungle with lush vegetation and rich wildlife.
When is it better to go
There are no sudden changes in temperature on the beaches of Malaysia's and possible to relax on the islands all year round. There is no particular season of rains and winds, precipitation is distributed depending on the month of the year and the region of the country.
