Beach description
The 600 m long coastline is covered in large sand mixed with pebbles, but it's comfortable to walk on barefoot. The descent is smooth, the sea bottom is sandy and the water is transparent and very warm. The sea is calm.
Samae has great infrastructure, with a lot of attractions and a large amount of visitors. Umbrellas and sunbeds are set up on light coral sand, showers and toilets are available here, cafes and restaurants, stalls with snacks and beverages and small massage parlours operate as well. It is comfortable to rest with children. Renting kayaks, jet skis, inflatable boats that resemble animals etc. is available here You can engage in parasailing. Despite its popularity encountering big crowds of people on land and sea is rare due to the beach's wideness. One of the main attractions of Samae is the nearby small park with paved pathways, benches and recreation zones under the trees.
A power station with an observation deck on its roof is located on a nearby hill, and great views of the Gulf of Thailand open from here.
