Beach description
The 400 m long coastline is covered in grainy white sand. The descent is smooth, the sea bottom is sandy with no stones, but occasionally you may stumble upon a sea urchin. The water is very clean and calm. The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds. Rent cost drops gradually the further you are from the water. The first row costs 100 Thai baht, rows behind cost no more than 50 Thai baht. Shower and toilet are available. There's a jet ski rental, and you can also partake in water skiing.
Tien doesn't see a lot of visitors, so if you're looking for solitude, this place is perfect. Families with children can be seen. Picturesque piles of boulders that often serve as a backdrop for photos can be seen in the northern part of the beach.
Several cafes with typical Thai snacks, beverages and ice cream operate on the beach. You can eat right there or order take out and take your food back to your sunbed. The restaurant, also located right on the beach, has a more varied selection of local cuisine.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
