Beach description
Karma beach is considered as the calling card of Ko Lipe. Perhaps the rainforests lining the coastline are the most impressive on the whole island. They worth photographer`s attention. As the beach is located in the North of Ko Lipe, guests can see pictures of both sunrise and sunset.
Karma beach is famous for its shallow water. It protrudes several meters into Andaman sea and changes direction depending on the weather. At low tide, the sand spit is covered with a colorful carpet of shells.
Technically, Karma beach is part of Sunrise-Beach. They are separated by a short walking distance. The sea is calm and shallow around the coast, which makes swimming suitable for small children. The coral reef, which interests snorkeling fans, is located further out to sea.
Both Karma beach and Sunrise-Beach have several middle class hotels offering bungalows to choose. One of the resorts is equipped with a large swimming pool. Hotel's restaurants serve delicacies of european and thai cuisine.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
