Beach description
At first glance, Sunrise-Beach is a section 2-kilometers along of white sand, washed by clear sea waters. It is worth staying here for a few days to appreciate the beach advantages and feel the local atmosphere.
Protected from torrential rains, Sunrise-Beach promises ideal conditions for snorkeling, diving and exciting boat trips. It is recommended to sail away from the shore to see bizarre coral reef view. The small island of Ko-Kra opposite the beach is interesting for deep sea explorer as well. Scuba diving around its shores is usually accompanied by exotic fish encounter and picturesque coral thickets.
From November to April, tourists from all over the world rush to sunrise beach. There is variety of accommodation options- both cheap bungalows and high class hotels. Shops and restaurants can be found near the beach. Every year Sunrise Beach becomes more and more lively and tourist.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
