Sanom Beach
Sanom Beach is a beautiful and quiet place in the southern part of the island of Koh Lipe, which will be remembered by the turquoise edge of the sea, soft white sand, many shady trees, and picturesque rocky ledges. Instead of the catamarans' roars and the rhythms of beach music, here you can hear only the splashing of waves, the rustle of leaves and birdsongs.

Tourists are warmly welcomed by the wooden bungalows of the only beachfront hotel. They are equipped with hot water showers, fans and verandas. The menu of the local cafe will surprise you with its set of offers: from standard western fast food to Asian delicacies. In addition to full breakfasts and lunches, they are treating with light snacks and cocktails. Having bought fresh fish at the local market, you can cook a delicious barbecue dinner by yourself.
The tranquil sandy-bottom Sanom Beach Lagoon is the perfect place for snorkeling and swimming. You can enjoy hiking and boat trips, take part in organized island tours and exclusive fishing excursions, receive snorkeling and diving lessons, and also witness fantastic sunrises. There are many shops, restaurants, and massage tents on the promenade of the neighboring Pattaya Beach (it is reached by a wooden bridge from Sanom Beach).
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
