Beach description
Pattaya beach is well protected from the monsoon. Its water surface is undisturbed for most of the year. Many boats drop anchors here. Large passenger boats with a non-decreasing number of guests regularly arrive in high season.
It is a pleasure walking on the white and wonderfully soft sand of the beach. The clear water is ideal for swimming and diving. Underwater reef stretching along the coastline is waiting for snorkeling fans. You can make a massage, rent a kayak, jet ski, parasail, rent a sun lounger and umbrella on the beach. Branchy trees- especially in the western part of the coast-provide a natural shade for tourists.
Asphalted pedestrian promenade connects Pattaya beach with other beach areas. The Ko-Lipe main road leads to shops, bars, restaurants and other resort infrastructure. Within walking distance from Pattaya beach, you can find accommodation for every taste- from affordable bungalows to sophisticated hotels.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
