Beach description
Unlike city beaches of Pattaya, the sand on the island is coarse-grained and clean, so many people come here to swim. On the eastern part there is a sandy beach 100 metres long, the rest of the coastline is covered with stones and unsuitable for swimming.
On Ko Khrok there is a village where the world-famous masters of stone carving live, so everyone can bring a symbolic souvenir in the form of tiger or elephant. Under the water you can see a wall of coral labyrinths, which begins at a depth of about 4 metres. Most often, the dive depth is about 22 metres. Also exotic clownfish live under the water, often there are sea turtles in the field of view.
When is it better to go
High season on the beaches of Pattaya falls from November to March. The weather becomes drier and cooler and more comfortable than in the rainy season.
