Deep Bay beach
Deep Bay Beach - white, a little grayish sand, the azure expanse of the sea and beautiful palm trees. A peaceful atmosphere and a local nature are ideal for a beach holiday. It is more convenient to get to the bay from St. John's, just 10 minutes by rental car or taxi. Deep Bay is a long and fairly narrow strip, located in the north of Dickenson Bay.

This isn't the best place for gastronomical tourism, as this place is not known for its big amount of restaurants, just a few cafes and bars with snacks. The beach isn't equipped with toilets, which is the main negative and the reason why not many families with children visit this place.
Besides water sports, the equipment for which can be rented on the beach, the Deep Bay offers an opportunity to look at the unique sunken ships. Men can go fishing or visit a casino, while women can relax in spas or visit souvenir shops of Dickenson Bay island. Picnics, surfing or diving, admiring the old local fort - the beach has everything for everyone, except young children, as water attractions are not very present here.
When is the best time to go?
The climate in Antigua is dry and warm year-round, but tropical hurricanes are possible from June to November. Therefore, it is better to choose a different time to visit the islands.
