Turners beach
Turners Beach, also known as Crab Hill Beach, is located in the southwestern part of Antigua, next to Crab Hill village, 17 km from the capital of the island. It is a charming place where you can comfortably sunbathe, swim, scuba dive and just relax, enjoying the tropical sun, warm sea and beautiful views. During the season, Turners Beach is often crowded with holidaymakers, as passengers like cruise liners calling at St John's seaport.

Beach description
Turners Beach is a small, well-developed area covered in grainy white sand, washed by Pikarts Bay waters on one side and pushed against a hill, with an amazing view of the beach and the far away island of Montserrat, on the other. You can spend enjoyable time here:
- walk along the coast;
- look at the sunset;
- lay in a hammock or sunbed;
- partake in water activities.
The water at Turners Beach is calm and clear, the descent is smooth, the breeze from the sea cools the hot Sun, which makes it perfect for children. Snorkeling enthusiasts often come to the beach to swim underwater and look at the tropical fish that live in the nearby reefs and rocks. As the beach is located far from popular tourist attractions, the beach is uncrowded, calm and clean when cruise ships don't pass by. It's loud and crowded on the other days though.
Getting here from St. John's by taxi or rented car will take just a few minutes.
When is the best time to go?
The climate in Antigua is dry and warm year-round, but tropical hurricanes are possible from June to November. Therefore, it is better to choose a different time to visit the islands.

A visit to Turners Beach promises a pleasant relaxing vacation, thanks to the presence on the beach:
