Beach description
This beach is perfect for solitary relaxation, as well as partaking in kitesurfing and catamaran riding - all the equipment can be rented at the beach. Many tourists also like to come to Green Island because of the water tours to stingrays - swimming with them leaves the same impression as swimming with dolphins (and sometimes the emotions are even bigger).
Visiting turtle nests, underwater swimming, catamaran riding - these are the main activities on the island, as there are many historical and cultural sights here. You can also visit museums, architectural monuments and national park on the main island of Antigua. By the way, one of the days of the famous regatta takes place near Green Island, combined with BBQ and visiting the deserted island with a company of friends.
When is the best time to go?
The climate in Antigua is dry and warm year-round, but tropical hurricanes are possible from June to November. Therefore, it is better to choose a different time to visit the islands.
