Long Bay beach
It is one of those beaches to spend a holiday with children, as Long Bay is surrounded by reefs that do not let strong waves into the coastal zone, so swimming in this place can be considered safe. There is a beach on the east coast of Antigua Island, in the resort of the same name, where there is absolutely no public transport, so you can get to the place from the airport only by taxi or by renting a car. Connoisseurs of paradise relaxation say that the cleanest beach is covered with sand with a pink tint, against which a turquoise and transparent water surface stretches.

Some of the amazing beaches at Long Bay are famous for its unique flora and fauna - be it large turtles, frigatebirds and underwater dwellers - wrasses and barracudas, dolphins and parrotfish, harmless sharks called "babysitters". When is the best time to go?
The climate in Antigua is dry and warm year-round, but tropical hurricanes are possible from June to November. Therefore, it is better to choose a different time to visit the islands.
