Eagle Beach is a beach on the west coast of the island of Aruba near the fashionable area, where there are many luxury hotels.

Beach description

The wide coast is covered with fine white sand. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy. Not high waves. Along the shore and in the water you can walk barefoot without the risk of damaging your legs. Eagle Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island, but there are significantly fewer people than on Palm Beach. The beach is comfortable for vacationers of any age. Divi divi trees grow on the sand and provide vacationers with a natural shadow. Eagle Beach organizes camping on Easter week, where locals relax.

Eagle Beach is a nesting site for several species of sea turtles. In certain seasons, you can see large turtle nests, from which small turtles later crawl out and rush to the sea. Nests are located in a fenced area.

Competitions and even beach tennis championships are often held on the beach. Diving centers organize diving. You can go windsurfing, snorkeling, parasailing, snorkeling. In the vicinity there are shops, restaurants, cafes. You can rent deck chairs, umbrellas and scuba gear.

When is it better to go

Aruba is an island of hemiclastic origin in the Caribbean, which lie in the subequatorial climate zone. Almost imperceptible changes in seasonal temperatures, a slight amount of precipitation throughout the year, and constant trade winds are very typical here. Aruba is located outside the hurricane belt. Daytime air temperature does not exceed + 32 °C all year round; at night it does not fall below + 25 °C. Water temperature – is about + 30 °C. You can go to Aruba at almost any time of the year, except for a short period from October to December (the rainy season).
