Rodgers beach

Rogers is a beach in a small bay surrounded by picturesque sand dunes and rock formations, west of Baby Beach. It is possible can get there by bus or rented car.

Beach description

The beach line is covered with fine white sand, there are small rocky areas. The descent into the water is gentle, the bottom is sandy-rocky, with a very long shallow. The water is clean, warm and calm. There are no dangerous undercurrents in the bay. You can take children with you.

Unlike most of Aruba’s popular beaches, Rogers Beach is pretty crowded and quiet. There are no crowds of vacationers, but there is no infrastructure either. It is advisable to bring along a rug, umbrella, food and drinks, as well as snorkeling and diving equipment.

On Rogers Beach, you can see pelicans fishing, not worrying about the people watching them. Feathered calmly fly over the beach, sit on the water or slowly walk along the sand among vacationers.

When is it better to go

Aruba is an island of hemiclastic origin in the Caribbean, which lie in the subequatorial climate zone. Almost imperceptible changes in seasonal temperatures, a slight amount of precipitation throughout the year, and constant trade winds are very typical here. Aruba is located outside the hurricane belt. Daytime air temperature does not exceed + 32 °C all year round; at night it does not fall below + 25 °C. Water temperature – is about + 30 °C. You can go to Aruba at almost any time of the year, except for a short period from October to December (the rainy season).
