Gilliam Bay beach
Gilliam Bay Beach is located on Green Turtle Cay Island, which ranks first in the TOP 10 most romantic places in the Bahamas. Often this coast is called a paradise for families. Gilliam is also popular for sailing, sea fishing and diving. Very close to the coast there is a coral reef with luxurious fans, sponges and colorful marine life.

Beach description
The beach has a perfect horseshoe shape that can be frequently seen in the Bahamian bays. The beach is covered with soft snow white sand sparkling under the sunrays. Gilliam is surrounded with picturesque panoramas: on the one side, the beach is surrounded with palm trees and tropical plants, and on the other, calm waters of the Caribbean Sea with the private island seen from there. The water entry is safe and shallow-watered. It should be noted that Gilliam is situated in a bay, so it is protected from winds that are rather frequent on the Bahamas.
In spite of the fact that the beach is situated in a popular tourist part of the city, it is never too crowded. It should be noted that there are no public water closets on Gillian.
When is the best time to go?
Holidays in the Bahamas are good at any time of the year, but the busy season is in the period from mid-November to May. The Bahamas are disposed quite low in relation to sea level, so the wind blows in the winter months, but it is gentle and soberly pleasant. The air temperature is between 27-29 degrees from the end of autumn to the beginning of summer. Traveling with children, it is better to come in the autumn months, while the spring is more appropriate to go for new emotions, and peacefully enjoy the sunshine – in winter.
