Levera beach
Levera Beach is located on the southeast coast of Grenada. Where the Caribbean sea and the Atlantic ocean meet. It is a narrow strip of white sand along the coast, bounded by cliffs.

Beach description
Thanks to the coral reefs that protect the coast from waves, the water here is calm and shallow, no sharks, moray eels or other dangerous underwater dwellers can get here. The descent is very smooth.
The infrastructure isn't very developed, but you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds. Besides sunbathing you can also partake in snorkeling, diving and fishing. The resort town of Sauteurs, where you can book a hotel room, bungalow or an apartment to rest, is located near the beach. Many restaurants and cafes are located there, and night parties are held.
This place is part of a national nature park, many rare species of birds nest here. Turtles who hide their eggs in the sand like the beach. The night excursions show how turtle offspring make their initial way to the sea.
40 kilometers separate Levera from St. George's, so the best way to get here is to rent a car. It will take 1 hour 20 minutes.
When is it better to go
In the Caribbean you can relax all year round. It is always warm here. Even in the coldest season, the air temperature is never lower than +27˚. There is no concept of winter or summer, but there are wet and dry seasons.
In the rainy season (June to December) it is very humid, there are winds and storms. May – a transitional month, unpredictable, although there are already fewer rains, winds are also blowing strongly. This time is popular with surfers who come to Grenada to catch a wave.
The best time for the beach season is from January to April. During the day, the air temperature does not exceed +29˚, and at night +22˚. Water warms up to +26˚.
