Aomak beach
The beach is located in the south of Socotra island. This is almost the only place, where there are always green plants along the beach edge - not only shrubs, but also trees. On the island, most often winds blow from the south - from the Indian Ocean, which is why the beach has the strongest wave of all the coastlines of Soctora.

Beach description
The beach is literally pressed by cliffs, that are made of the same white-gray sandstone, as the sand itself. Closer to the southern edge there is a multi-coloured shingle, which, in combination with the bright colours of the shallow sea and single-colour sand, gives amazing views for the photo.
There are almost no buildings along the beach. It is wild, people are brought here on excursions. Usually - before dinner, when it is not too hot. The depth of the sea in this place is about the same for about forty meters, the turquoise waves are a joy to swim in them.
When is it better to go?
To visit Yemen, the periods from April to May and from September to October are recommended, when neither heat, nor sandstorms, nor frost will bother you.
